Mastermind Japan’s skull and crossbones logo has been intertwined with the iconic Playboy bunny logo – kind of a death meets sensuality theme – as part of a capsule collection in conjunction with Theatre8. G-Shock Japan keeps the collaborations coming. The latest one that we come across is with Ben Davis, a brand that has seen some nice progress in recent seasons, mainly due to the newly launched Ben Davis Project Line, which is unfortunately exclusive to the Japanese market.

Together with G-Shock they worked on the classic DW-5600 watch, kept it all in black and added their logo to the dial and of course also put it on the backlight of the display. The watch will be released March 22nd at Bench At The Greene.

Recording Engineer Finis White, better known as KY has one of the most important jobs in the music industry. He is Lil Wayne’s right hand man/engineer in the studio, crafting the sound of all the rappers songs. In addition to working with Lil Wayne, KY also works closely with Wayne’s supergroup Young Money. Recently KY spoke to NewLilWayne.com about what exactly he does as an engineer for Lil Wayne and the Cash Money/Young Money family.

“I hate when music leaks because of course people love what we doing, but most of the time those songs aren’t done and over at YM we pride ourselves on quality. They would love the songs more if they were done. It’s not really much we can do because they hack emails or people might come into the studio after we leave and get the songs and put them out. We don’t email anymore so it has calmed down a lot but as soon as we do send it out, it’s on the street in less than a week. Another thing is that when songs leak that were going on an album it pushes the album back, because we have to keep making new songs that people haven’t heard,

Hublot presents a new version of the La Clef du Temps watch, called “La Clé Du Temps,” which means “the key of time.” Believe it or not, you can actually speed up and slow down time on the dial.

The watch dial, to tell the time, is on the upper right of the dial. The lower left of the dial is a power reserve indicator (looks like 5 days worth in the manually wound movement), and above it is the selector for speeding up for slowing down the time. This is where it gets interesting, and Hublot has clearly changed the format of the dial a bit from the previous watch. Using a crown on the left of the watch you can alter the time to run fast or run slow. A fun, but gimmicky way of “controlling time.” The neat part is that the movement always retains knowledge of the correct time – so you can always switch it back to “normal” mode and the time isn’t all screwed up.

The watch is part of the exclusive Hublot Confrerie range and will release in March 2011.

Concepts and Nike have colabed for their Nike Lobster SB Dunk Low . Inspired by the seafood industry of New England, the Lobster Dunk will be sold in an limited edition set and only at Concepts.

Included in the first 200 pairs is limited packaging including a lobster claw rubber band, t-shirt, and condiment box consisting of a lobster shell cracker, fork, bib, wet nap, poster and extra set of laces.

To sweeten the deal, Concepts has teamed up with Legal Seafoods as they turnd to them to provide appetizers for the special event. Release was limited to 200 pairs and will retail at $150.

Air Jordan 1 Retro – Hi Black/Cyber-Blue Sapphire

The AJ1 kicks things off with a predominantly dark upper consisting of black on the mid-panels and toe-box with a dark shade of grey, which looks to feature a very subtle speckle pattern, fastened to the frontal and heel and ankle panels. To brighten things up and add in those trendy spring colors which are becoming the norm, a pair of cyber laces were laced up to accompany the cyber lining and white contrast stitching was used throughout the entire shoe. Still not satisfied Jordan Brand wrapped things up with hits of blue sapphire on the Jordan Wings logo and Swoosh to give the sneakers a little extra pop and glued up a white outsole to the black mid-sole.

No official release details are available at this time but a size 9 sample surfaced on eBay, so if you can squeeze you’re feet into em and you’re looking to get a pair early check it out, otherwise click here to peep the rest of the photos and stay tuned for further details on a release.
